# Introduction

Solana Sports Club (SCC) is underpinned by a unique trading card-themed non-fungible token (NFT). This is a 7,000 piece deflationary collection that will be available for mint through our official sites in Q3 2022.

Holders of our main collection will gain membership to the club, full creative and IP rights, access to our community and sport-focused utility model offering participation in sports competitions and giveaways, voting rights for our community wallet and athlete sponsorships, an alpha channel, and access to future utilities including all-inclusive events packages and experiences, as well as airdrops to Sportsbook competitions (as below).

In addition to our main collection, Solana Sports Club will act as a unique on-chain sportsbook, minting smaller bespoke collections in the form of sports betting. These collections will commence prior to our main collection and will act as a method to bring new organic consumers to the project.

An example of the sportsbook collection is minting a 'team NFT' from a specific league and sharing a prize pool if that team were to win that league; this is similar to betting for that team on a mainstream platform like FanDuel or DraftKings, however, will allow the holder to trade their team's NFT during the season on secondary markets.

Our vision is to be a leading, collaborative NFT community in the sporting niche, and we strive to provide tangible utility to our members through fostering a community that is equal, engaging, and rewarded for being a long-term member.
