# General

Solana Sports Club presents the 2022/23 Global Football Sweepstakes collection, which is the first sub-collection from our sportsbook utility.\

This sweepstakes-style competition is backed by blockchain technology and is focused on the 5 top flight leagues from around the world - La Liga, EPL, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the Bundesliga. The competition will conclude after the final result from all five leagues.\
\
When you mint, you will receive an NFT representing one of the top 6 teams within one of the leagues; the top 6 teams are based on 21/22 final standings. A seventh NFT is available per league, which represents all other teams - called the 'league'.\
\
For Ligue 1 (France) as an example, if you mint PSG, and they go on to win the league as favorites, you share the winnings with other PSG holders. PSG has the most NFTs within the French league, so your earnings would be less than if the 'league' or Monaco, Marseille, Nice, Rennes, or Strasbourg were to win.\
\
If you mint PSG and feel stronger about OM, then you could sell the PSG at a higher rate due to their higher odds and then try to buy an OM NFT (or, continue minting until you get an OM NFT).\
\
The secondary market can be exciting as we have 5 different leagues all playing out within the same collection. You might see a Real Madrid NFT to then buy a Manchester City NFT because you follow the EPL more... or maybe you sell your PSG NFT to fund two Liverpool NFTs because you think they can win.
